My involvement

I first met the lovely Louise & James in November 2010, we instantly clicked and spent hours chatting about plans for their 2011 wedding! They had already visited a number of venues but felt there was something missing... so as soon as I got the go ahead that they were happy with the full coordination package, I sent them a number of other venue options that complemented their style... the search really didn’t take that long as one of the first venues I suggested, Prestwold Hall happened to be just down the road from their house and it is stunning! They loved it and confirmed the date for the 12th of August 2011...

The scene was set so it was now onto work with the rest of the plans. Louise & James were such a delight to work with throughout... they loved my ideas and suggestions and put their faith and trust in me that I would find the perfect suppliers for their day, I recommend a number of my favourite suppliers who I knew would not let them down – Red Square Photography, John Preston Flowers and The Great Lorenzo (an amazing children’s entertainer!) to name but a few. 2011 soon came around and we were well underway with the plans.... Louise & James really wanted a unique day and decided not to have a wedding cake, I reassured them that there are no rules anymore for what couples should or shouldn’t have at their wedding... and interestingly enough not one guest asked where the cake was on the day! As James is from Australia, the majority of his family and friends were travelling, therefore they made the decision to move the date of the wedding back a few weeks to a more suitable date for their travelling guests... luckily all the key suppliers were available and the new date was confirmed as the 3rd of September... I already had another wedding booked in that day which meant I then couldn’t attend the big day, but I knew the venue and suppliers would do an amazing job... Instead I sent them all a copy of my final details and timings document, so they knew exactly what should be happening when...

The other wedding I was coordinating that day was coincidentally only 10 minutes drive from Prestwold so I popped my head in on the morning of the wedding, and as no surprise, everything was set perfect! Thank you to all Louise & James’ suppliers and to Prestwold Hall who made the day simply perfect! Congratulations to a gorgeous couple... All my love for a very happy future x
