My Involvement
Caitlin & Jeff were happy planning their big day but wanted to ensure they could relax when the day finally came knowing everything was under control.
They booked their on-the-day coordination well in advance to ensure I was available. I then left them to the planning and arranged our initial meeting for May, two months before the big day.
At the meeting they handed over to me details of all the suppliers they had booked and we went through how they wanted their day to run.
The only supplier they had struggled to find was a DJ, so I recommended Paul from Spirits High.
The week of the wedding I rolled and decorated 96 napkins and collected all the decorations from the bride & groom, including the guest book, gift post box, candles etc...
On the day itself I was there bright and early to ensure the flowers and cake arrived safely, I then supported the venue in dressing the room and setting out the place cards.
I was on hand throughout the day to assist the photographer in getting guests together for the group shots then whilst the guests sat down to eat I drove to the bride and grooms house to pick up the gifts for the bridal party (that the groom had forgotten!) Although no one knew as I managed to get back just in time for the start of the speeches!
The highlight of the day for me was definitely the ceremony taking place outside in the Pavilion. We couldn’t have wished for better weather, although we did have a room inside Ringwood Hall set for a ceremony right up until the last minute just in case the weather turned.
