My Involvement
Emily had been busy making all the arrangements for her wedding but 6 months before she realised she needed a little help with the finishing touches and making all the final arrangements. I made suggestions for the remaining suppliers they required, including a tailor to design and make a bespoke suit for the groom. Emily and I then worked together to design the orders of service and decide upon the table and venue decorations. I even arranged for a traditional black cab to collect the bride and bridal party from the hotel and take them to the cathedral – very city chic!
The day was fantastic, starting with the very important job of ensuring all their overseas guests had arranged transport to take them to and from the cathedral and reception venue. After the ceremony in the spectacular Sheffield cathedral, the bride and groom decided to walk the short distance back to the Leopold hotel, giving the photographer the opportunity to capture great shots of the city. I was then on hand for the rest of the day to set up the cake and sweet station- which went down very well with their guests and set up the games room for the children/men!! Emily, Christian and their guests thoroughly enjoyed the day and I was very pleased with how well everything came together.
